Bare Minerals High Shine Eyecolor: Eye Like it

bare escentuals

Normally no fan of Bare Escentuals as a brand, recently I've found myself Quite Liking its Bare Minerals Flawless Definition Volumizing Mascara and these little fellers, incoming in December, look promising too.

They're Bare Minerals High Shine Eyecolor, they'll cost €17 and they'll come in six shades: Bronzed (Bronze), Electric (Deep teal), Frost (Silver), Glisten (Golden sand), Moonshine (Deep plum) and Spotlight (Vanilla sugar). So, what are they? Basically, high-pigment mineral and metallic pearl pigment loose shadow contained within what looks to be a non-messy applicator, with a wee spongey tip for application.

The powder is paraben free and you can apply it to your lids using the tip - but I reckon I'd advise that you follow up and use a proper blending brush to smooth out hard edges and to get a nice pro finish. While I haven't given them a go myself I do like the look of them - the shades are nice, organised into cool and warm tones, and this is a good way to present what can often be a messy, hard-to-use product.

So, what sort of looks could you achieve with these babies? Bare Minerals has a suggestion:

Er yeah, maybe not.

You'll find these at Bare Escentuals counters in BT2 branches and at spas and selected salons from December.
