Beaut.ie Tutorial: How to do Natural Sexy Eyes
By Beaut.ie  | Oct 14, 2011

Meet Sara Kalima! She's 20, originally from Finland but has been living in Donegal for the last 10 years. When we saw the amazing looks she was creating on her blog Love Thing recently, we decided to ask her to create some for Beaut.ie too, because we were super-impressed with her skills.  Currently working in a hair salon doing makeup and freelance bridal work on the side, her ideal career path would be to work as a freelance makeup artist. We reckon she might not be far off, eh?

Check out her first look for us below, natural sexy eyes, and then go and visit her blog for lots more. She's got loads of great, detailed eye makeup tutorials over there, and she's got a few more up her sleeve for Beaut.ie too - so as always, stay tuned.

And now, lets get to today's gorgeous look in easy-to-follow steps.

I filled in my brows with Stila Nanda Devi Eyeshadow and an angled brush and applied a tiny bit of Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden all over the lid.

On a flat shader brush I took Buckle Bunny eyeshadow from Benefit and applied this onto the moving lid, up as far as the crease. A very similar colour to Buckle bunny is Toasted from the Urban Decay Naked Palette if you have that.

Next, with the same brush I picked up Gunmetal eyeshadow from the UD Naked Palette and applied this to the outer corner and into the crease.

With a blending brush I blended the edges with Naked eyeshadow.

Apply brow highlight with a stubby shader brush using Brule by Mac

Applied inner corner highlight with a pointed crease brush using Naked Lunch by Mac.

Next, taking Gunmetal and Toasted on an angled brush, I took the two under the lower lashline, Gunmetal on the outer corner and Toasted on the middle part.

I lined my waterline with GOSH Pencil Eyeliner in Metallic Brass.

Now do a standard slightly winged eyeliner on top using Rimmel Glam'Eyes Liquid Liner in Black.

Apply two coats of Bourjois Volume Clubbing Mascara.

Apply a pair of cheap Chinese-no-brand eyelashes bought on Ebay. Any natural-look lashes will work.

The finished look!
