Make Up Store Face Mist: Nice

Make Up Store Face Mist: Nice

Like Kirstie, I've been trying and liking various offerings from fairly-new-to-these-shores Swedish brand Make Up Store over the last while. Their gloss-finish nail varnish in Elin is a gorgeous cherry red shade and wears well, and I've found myself reaching for my pot of Luxury blusher (a bubblegum pink that Barbie would be proud of) on a near daily basis.

Make Up Store also do a range of skincare goodies including what they call a face mist, which is a spray to fix make-up so it's comparable to products like Clarins Fix'Make Up or MAC Fix+. (Or, of course, hairspray.) It also promises to provide hydration to skin in need of a moisture hit, with an ingredients list that includes extracts of aloe vera, hazel, and seaweeds like Fucus vesiculosus (aah, takes me right back to my school days that does.)

Now, I can't honestly say that I noticed a big upswing in the wear time of my make-up when using it. However, on initial application it did give my foundation a fresh, dewy finish that I very much liked the look of, and skin felt did feel instantly perked up and, yes, hydrated with a spritz of it in the middle of the afternoon.
