Aldi Carino Herbals is the living spit of Herbal Essences Hello Hydration: but is it any good?

Once more Aldi have copied an existing bestselling product lock stock and two smoking barrels and I really don't know how they get away with it without being sued for copyright infrigement.   They're particularly good at copying shampoo brands - Head and Shoulders (Head High in Aldi) and some of the L'Oreal Elvive copies are ones you might have picked up already.

This time they've taken on Herbal Essences Hello Hydration - and honestly a blind man on a galloping horse couldn't tell the difference between the two brands.

On the left we have an example of "the red one" from the Herbal Essences Hello Hydration range (€2.65 300ml).  On the right we have the Aldi Carino Herbals range of shampoos and conditioners.

See?  The bottles are an exact copy - the 'wave' shape is the same.  The swirly motif is similar.  The shampoo has the same delicious fruity smell.

If Herbal Essences give you an orgasm in the shower like yer wan in the ad then you're going to like the Aldi range just as much.  I tried "the red one" for coloured hair and it smells lovely, suds up well and actually has left my hair really, really shiny.

I like it!  And for €1.99 for 400ml I'm betting some of you will too.

Have you tried it?  What did you think?
