Yesterday I discovered a new summer lippy staple from Giorgio Armani. I thought that the Rouge D’Armani Couture Lipstick in Fuchsia Maharajah was divine (apart from its poor staying power. Despite its promise to last for six hours I put it on this morning at 9, it's almost 2 o'clock now and it's nowhere to be seen on my lips) and better still, I think that it's universally flattering.
From dark skinned ladies to those, like me, who are very pale the fuchsia shade suits us all. I heard a makeup artist speak at an event a short while ago and I was surprised when he mentioned that coral lippy looks good on everyone. Now that the colour is 'in' and I see loads of people sporting it on their smackers, I believe him. We like this one - Wet n' Wild MegaSlick in Coral of the Story.

Obviously there are some cosmetics that couldn't possibly work for all like foundations and there are some that generally will be ok for the majority of people to use, like mascaras and eyeliners.
We have restricted our pondering to lippies so far so can you think of any other item of makeup that you own (or would like to own!) that would flatter you and your friends?
