Painting the Town Red (& Glossy)

joan collinsSo we all know by now that it's red lipstick that's in for Autumn / Winter...but...but! What if you can't bear to part with your beloved gloss but still want to try the colour? Well you can! Rules - they are meant to be broken.

There are loads of lovely red glosses out there and it'd be an awful shame to not try at least a couple of them, eh?

I've already road tested Rimmel's Infinite Colour in Eternity, which is a two step product (a colour you apply first and a gloss you put on top) and I was really impressed with it. But if you're not into such a fiddly application, then there are tons of other reds you can try. What about Guerlain's KissKiss Lacque in Rouge Hollywood? It's a gorgeous glossy red with loads of colour - perfect for getting that Joan Collins in Dynasty look. Or you could try one of Estee Lauder's new glosses. They're called High Gloss, and the strangely named Tan shade is a nice dark red, which would be easier to wear than a very bright shade.
