Hilary Duff Does Wonderful Winter-Wear

Hilary Duff Does Wonderful Winter-Wear

As far as we're concerned, she'll forever be known as Lizzie Maguire but gone are the pigtails and cutsey pink-striped jeans and in is one of the chicest winter looks we've seen this December.

Hilary Duff attended the opening night of The Elephant Man in New York this weekend and boy, did she stand out. Amongst other stars who went along to Broadway dressed in blacks and navys, Hilary donned her finest leather skirt, white boxy top and a camel coat which skimped her shoulders. That's our winter wardrobe sorted.

It didn't take science to come up with this winning combination but the woman who owns the definition of Hollywood smile upped it to ninety with her dark peach clutch and duck-egg blue nails and by focusing her jewelry on her hands.

In the day and age of the bouncy blow dry, Hilary wore her hair straight but volumised and kept her make-up nice and simple. That brown-based subtle smokey eye with mascara galore is something we will be trying out when we go to the theatre (ok, pantomime in the Gaiety) this Christmas.

Despite the dull colour, there were some gorgeous winter coats on display at the opening -  we are particularly liking Rose Byrne's and Emily Blunt's. Take a look at the gallery and let us know if you agree that Hilary won in the style stakes and tell us which look was your favourite!
