Steal Her Style: Literally Lusting After Kate Moss

Steal Her Style: Literally Lusting After Kate Moss

The Moss. I love her. The world loves her. She does no wrong; even in the style stakes. Actually, especially in the style stakes. Her effortless look is something I try to achieve and fail.

I get dressed up, I look good for about an hour until I have to contend with the volatile elements of living in a temperate climate without a chauffeur. The Lady Moss steps out of a car looking fresh and styled each and every time. But that said, we can certainly channel the Moss look quite easily at this time of year.

Spotted attending an event in London yesterday, Kate opted for classic tailoring which works for day and night. Let's start with the jacket. The good old reliable blazer  is the perfect option to pop on over a simple top and style with black tapered trousers or your favourite pair of jeans.

The stiletto court shoe will match practically everything in your wardrobe; I particularly like the current offering from Kurt Geiger at Brown Thomas who carry a year-round high heel collection from both its main line and it's diffusion range, KG.

Moving to the trousers, the style for Autumn Winter 2014 is slightly wider than previous seasons. The high street is channelling a move towards cigarette style pants; which are a flattering choice thanks to their slimming effect from hip to foot.

And just to add a new label into the mix at Beaut HQ, Hoss Intropia (available online and in boutiques nationwide) is styling up the Moss look rather perfectly this season with a long line blazer with scalloped finished and co-ordinated trousers.

This is one to watch; despite being stocked in Ireland for a number of years, Hoss have stepped up their game in tailoring and casual separates for Autumn Winter. Definitely worth an online browse on your lunchbreak!

She's a constant point of reference for many's the stylish gal about town, so do you think you wanna emanate La Moss? Is her style your bag? Let's get gabbing!
