We have all come across an eyelash curler in our time. Some people (the ones who know exactly how to use them) love them, but others see them a torture device or, at best, useless. If you fall into the latter category, I'm here to change the way you think about the common-as-muck contraption. It is far more useful than you might realise.

Think about it, when we curl our hair a cold curling iron is just not going to cut it. The device needs to be hot for it to curl the hair. A lash curler is the same. Next time, before you curl your lashes, try heating it up with a hair dryer. Just put the hair dryer on max temperature and give it a blast for about ten seconds. Don't forget to test the heat on your hand first so you don't burn your eyelid. I've had many an incident where I was in a rush and forgot this part. Not fun.
