Kate Middleton stepped out in a powder blue suit by Catherine Walker a couple of days ago. While the suit was rather fetching, our eye was on her shoes.
Kate Middleton is in Rotterdam for her first solo foreign trip, doing all sorts of Duchessy things. A couple of days before that, she made an appearance in a vintage style dress that we thought was lovely but has divided opinion elsewhere. Tying both looks together were her shoes.
Kate can just not fight her love of a nude heel. This time, however, they are suede and pointy, rather than patent and round-toed. And we quite love them.
When you find a shoe like this that suits your skin tone, buy them. The point helps give the illusion of a longer, slimmer leg and suede is a more luxurious looking material. Even better, a faux suede makes a cheap shoe look more expensive.
We've found this shoe from New Look that fits the bill entirely.
When we first came across them, they cost €32.99, but they've since been reduced to an incredible €11. Quick, get 'em while they're hot! Just one thing to be aware of; they're a wide fit. But this is great news for women wide of foot who have difficulty finding a shoe that the Duchess would wear.
