NEW! Catrice's AW '14 Collection: Beautifying Lip Smoother is Lip-Lickingly Good. Review, Swatches and Pics

Okay, Beauties, it seems I've finally discovered a range of lip glosses that I can happily get on board with.

If, like me, you're more into enhancing your look in a natural way as opposed to giving yourself a make-up face transplant with different, intense colours here there and everywhere, then Catrice Cosmetics' AW '14 collection may be just up your street.

The reason I tend to stay well away from lip gloss is because I can't stand that cheap, sticky feeling you get with so many other products. What's more, in my lip gloss-wearing experience, the point at which the gloss gathers around the corners of your mouth, separating into the lines of your lips and leaving you with a 'no, I haven't actually been nibbling on dessicated coconut' look is just far from ideal.

And if all of that wasn't enough to put me off, most of them smell like a packet of Dolly Mixture.

What separates Catrice's Beautifying Lip Smoother from the rest, however, is that it feels all kinds of luxurious on your smackers. More like a creamy butter than a gloss.

My lips feel moisturised, plumped and there's no fear of them getting stuck together for all eternity, unlike so much other crap that I've tried. And they smell diiiiivine too. Lip-lickingly good.

As we head towards Autumn/Winter, Catrice have offered up a newfound focus on natural nude shades. And I like it.

Today I've tried Sweet Caramel and Apricot Cream.

From the swatches below, you can see that Sweet Caramel is the less pinky, more taupey of the two. Applied to the lips, however, it's quite hard to tell the difference between the two shades. This doesn't matter; they're subtle, natural and for a nice day time look, either one will do the trick.

Rather than slip between the small cracks in your lips, these glosses actually serve to smooth out those lines. Hurrah!

This come in three shades And sure at €3.99 a pop, you could probably add more than one or two to your collection.

As part of this new collection, I've also given their Tinted Lip Glow Balm a whirl. This doesn't so much leave your lips with a noticeable colour, but more so a very light, shimmery glow. It moisturises your lips without leaving them as wet looking as, say, a lashing of Vaseline would do.

So if you prefer to leave your lips as natural looking as possible, this is a luxurious lip balm for you. And at €5.49, it's an absolute steal!

Tell us, lip gloss enthusiasts, which glosses have you come across that enhance rather than hinder your lips? And are you looking forward to trying out this new collection from Catrice?
