Everyone's favourite budget foundation is getting a formula makeover

Everyone wants beautiful, glowing skin - and when you can get it at an affordable price it's even better. But is it a good idea to change up a foundation that everyone loves already?

Bourjois is by far one of the most popular makeup brands on the high street and a firm favourite here at Beaut HQ. With over 150 years in the business, it's got more than a few cult classics to its name including the beautiful Rose D'Or blusher, brightening Java Rice Powder and more besides.

One of its enduringly popular products is the lightweight, illuminating Healthy Mix Foundation, which everyone loves for its affordable price point, smooth application and flawless finish.

You'd wonder then, if it ain't broke, why fix it?

Well, Bourjois obviously felt they could improve on the formula and have done so by adding in extra vitamins B5, C and E which give a more radiant, airbrushed finish. The good news is that the reports are in, and the new version is just as good, if not better than the original. Huzzah! Further good news is that aside from some snazzy new packaging,  Bourjois have also extended the shade range (finally!) to include a couple of lighter shades and a few darker shades too.
