These are the boots everyone was freaking out over at Fashion Week yesterday

Expect high street copies just in time for Christmas '17

In the worst plan ever, I was scrolling through Instagram last night just before bedtime. I know screen-time is not recommended when you're trying to 'wind down' but you and I both now that's easier said than done. Getting to sleep for me was even harder last night, with this image going through my head all night:

FYI, counting sheep to try to nod off is a much better idea than counting models wearing the most fabulous YSL collection in recent seasons.

It was Anthony Vaccarello's second collection for YSL, and though it was obviously high fashion, it was the most wearable YSL, or Saint Laurent as its also known, has presented in some time. Wearable in the way that the black, patent and glitter will surely inspire entire high street collections. Zara, we're coming at you in September.

Short dresses with over-the-knee boots are not a new or particularly original combination, but Vaccarello's Kate Moss-in-her-heydey vision will be welcomed by all women who love the rock chic look.

Highlights for me were the pointing shouldered 70s rock blazers, but what got everyone talking were these slouchy, glittery, slightly hypnotic works of beauty.
