90s makeup we all loved that we still totally wear

Throwback 90s makeup you won't throw away

We bet you remember every one of these 90s makeup products from back in the day. These are the ones that have passed the test of time and are still totally wearable.

Urban decay heavy metal 90's makeup

Glitter eyeliner was a regular appearance in our 90s makeup and a must for a Saturday night on the town. And, as it happens, glitter eyeliner is a cool look if you are going to festivals this summer. It's a quick and easy way to add some sparkle and make a feature of your eyes.

Rimmel Heather Shimmer 90's makeup

Rimmel lipstick in Heather Shimmer. This lipstick was everyone's favourite 'natural daytime lipstick' and it still works really well! It's a colour that suits most people; it's really inoffensive and subtle so it still makes a great addition to your everyday makeup bag. It was popular in the 80s and 90s but would you believe it's still one of their best sellers?

Rimmel Sunshimmer 90's makeup

Rimmel Sunshimmer was the tan of choice. It worked wonders for legs in denim button-down skirts everywhere - and it's still one of the best instant tans on the market. The formula has changed and is now water-resistant, thank God; those streaked legs on a rainy night were never a good look. We still love it.

MAC Spice 90's makeuplinda evangelista wearing spice 90s makeup

MAC Spice was the lip pencil of choice for all the supermodels of the 90s. After Linda Evangelista declared it as her must-have beauty item it was sold out in MAC stores for most of the decade. (She still wears the colour to this day.) Spice is still going strong and one of our very favourites for over-drawing and amplifying your pout. Actually, come to think of it, Spice and Heather Shimmer would pair up nicely.

Oh and remember body glitter gel? Well, that's not cool anymore but we just had to mention it!
