At this time of year, you can leave your Micheal Kors shopper at home. It's party bags time!
Last night, at the 2017 British Fashion Awards, Laura Whitmore wore head to toe River Island. Her suit was purposefully baggy, and the military feel was topped off (or should that be down?) by the boots that we really want but can't possibly get because of all the boots we have already. But 'twas the bag that stood out for us. Black and furry, it's a party bag through and through.
Like the rest of her outfit, it's from River Island (and it also comes in blue).
Of course, Laura is right to go high street when it comes to party dressing, especially with party bags. Even though festive fashion doesn't change too much from year to year, party bags can, in fact, be trendy, and you don't want to invest in something you'll only use for a month.
So have fun with yours. Get something furry or bejewelled. And use it every day for sartorial yuletide joy.
