Cardigans aren't sad this season - and they'll keep you warm without suffocating you like that oversized sweater
Oversize sweaters are the thing right now, and that's just grand. Wrapping up in a massive jumper on cold days is The Best. But soon employers and dads everywhere will give in and turn on the heating, and those jumpers will suddenly feel like less of a hug and more of a strangulation. That's 'k; just grab your cardigan.
I gave away all mine last spring because they were all basic bitch cardigans. Short 'n' cute. Or long but made from thin material. Not cool in the slightest, so I don't regret it. This season, the cardigan is more masculine (not that that makes it cool), chunkier, more '70s. Wear it over a bodysuit or a t-shirt even, if your office or home tends to boil over. Use it as a coat alternative when you just have to nip out or the temperature rises. It will look good with jeans or leggings or dresses and even better with heavy boots.
