5 pairs of party shoes you can actually dance in

This season, party shoes aren't skyscraper high. They still look good, but you will be able to walk home in them

You know what, it is time to start building our festive wardrobe. My calendar is already completely filled up with meet-ups and events - including November because you can't possibly meet everyone in December. Guys, my first festive catch-up is this coming weekend.

All the nice shiny and glittery things are already in stores so even if you're not ready to re-stock your tinsel supplies, there's a good reason why you should pick up a great pair of party shoes; they will sell-out in your size. Guaranteed. Sure, you'll still be able to buy a pair of stilettos that will look good but will keep in in slippers all January. This season, the savviest of stylish shoppers are buying disco shoes you can actually go out and have a boogie in. And then walk home in, because nary a taxi will there be to be found.

I've picked shoes with heels this time. For those of you who think any sort of heel should shun the dancefloor, we'll look at fancy flats next.
