15 new pieces that are arriving in stores this week that your wardrobe can't do without
I'm just saying it once. You deserve to add more pieces to your SS18 wardrobe. It has been a very good season for very nice things. Don't deny yourself, not in this case.
This season's trends are inspired by 'The French Girl', by '90s grunge. By a 'vintage' feel, in general. Easy to style and to wear, it's been a long time since an entire season has been so accessible. That's what makes it so hard to resist.
Most summers, when it's warm or when you go on holidays, you can get away with packing your five-year-old pairs of shorts and flip-flops you found in the bathroom for the dancing part of a wedding. For me, the temptation to dress like a Parisian is too strong to ignore. When button down floaty skirts and demure sundresses are so readily available for so cheap, there's really nothing for it.
French-inspired, but bring your Bardot anywhere in this lil number.
Fashion and style bloggers have been going nowhere without a plastic bag this summer, and I don't mean the ones you put your groceries into in Tesco.
Man Repeller's Leandra Medine has been wearing ballet flats again which means we will be wearing them again. Topshop sadly changed the form and design - they previously used real ballet shoe material - but these are still lovely. Plain and simple, they'll go with everything (and they come in black and grey, too).
It's a denim dress, but not as you know it. Get thee to a beach, stat.
If you only invest in one jacket, make it the oversized denim that will go with everything you own.
OR go for the summer version of the tweed.
What more can I say. It's a Dirty Dancing t-shirt.
Yes, you do need another LBD.
