Especially to celebrate the hawt weather, we're talking fancy flat sandals (and some of them are on sale!).
As you know, we're in the middle of a bit of a heatwave. Or a lot of one, depending on how well you take the heat. Me, I'm not feeling good. I'm sticky and uncomfortable and my fake tan is too orange for me and it doesn't matter because my skin will just turn red anyway. Most of my clothes are black, too, which doesn't help matters. I'm like a vampire running late back to their coffin at dawn. And not a good vampire like the ones in Twilight.
If you're also a walking shadow, but you want to summer-up your outfit, the best way to do it, without spending your entire paycheck, is with your shoes. Though you may sweat thrice as much as the next person in your all-black ensemble, don't step out of your sartorial comfort zone if you don't want to.
I always recommend brightening up a black outfit with accessories or shoes, and because it's June this week (where is the year going?!) it's time to set our tootsies free.
If you're the colourful type, these guys will work with jeans and skirts and other holiday apparel.

& Other Stories
Sophisticated and grown-up, you could wear these to work, no problem.
The fabulous person's shoe. Match your outfit to the colours in the pom-pom and don't forget the bling.
I love a shoe that needs no further explanation.
Leopard is the neutral of prints. I'm buying them and wearing for the rest of the summer.
